The Vegas Ballers started the tournament taking on a local opponent known as the Las Vegas Knicks. The Knicks were looking for revenge because the Vegas Ballers were able to become victorious in a previous meeting. The Knicks played with great determination, but the Vegas Ballers basketball players were able to hold them off and win the game.
The next opponent they faced was a team from Arizona. The Vegas Ballers jumped on the team quick and were able to pull out in front with a lead as large as 20 points, but they learned a great lessoned here. The Vegas Ballers became complacent and the game ended up going into overtime where the Vegas Ballers basketball players were able to will the team to a victory which allowed them to gain access to the top division of the tournament.
Their next opponent was a team from California known as “California Supreme Elite.” They had players such as Shaquille O’Neal’s son who took the court at a modest 6’7” being only 15 years old. The Vegas Ballers ended up falling to this team who went on to become the tournament champions.
Overall I believe the Vegas Ballers basketball players learned a lot of lessons from the participation in the tournament. I must say we are proud of the players too because, the team has only been together for a short while and they are growing as individuals and improving their basketball drills and thats the reason for the existence of the organization.
